About Fezzy

The person behind the notes โ€” a lifelong nerd, collector, and dealer of rare American currency.

Welcome to the Nerdvana

I'm Fezzy โ€” a collector, dealer, and full-blown nerd for American paper money. What started as curiosity about old bills at antique shops turned into a genuine obsession with the history, artistry, and stories behind the currency that shaped this country.

From Continental dollars to Civil War era notes to the hand-signed Short Snorters passed between World War II aviators over the Atlantic โ€” every piece I acquire has something to say. I find that fascinating, and I've built Fezzy's Nerdvana around sharing that fascination with other collectors.

What I Do

I source material from Heritage Auctions, Stack's Bowers, eBay, estate sales, and private collections. I grade honestly, photograph carefully, and sell primarily through live shows on Whatnot โ€” where you can ask questions in real time, see the notes up close on camera, and bid competitively.

I also maintain an eBay store for fixed-price inventory between shows, and I'm building out this site as a permanent home for the collection โ€” a museum of sorts, organized by era and type.

The Museum

A big part of this project is creating an educational archive โ€” not just a sales catalog. The Museum section is organized by specialty: Civil War documents, National Bank Notes, Short Snorters, Colonial and Obsolete currency, and Featured Acquisitions. Each category gets its own page with context about what makes those pieces historically significant.

If you're a fellow collector, a history enthusiast, or just someone who stumbled onto this site and is curious โ€” I hope you find something here that sparks the same excitement I feel every time I open a new piece.

Connect

The best way to reach me is through the contact form, or by following me on Whatnot and YouTube. I try to respond personally to every message. This is a one-person operation and I like keeping it that way.
